Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)
Application of the cryosurgical tip directly to the lesion. For HPV lesions that appear on keratinized tissue, such as the one pictured in this example, the application should last approximately 20 seconds. For lesions on non-keratinized tissue, such as buccal mucosa, the tip should be in contact for approximately 10 seconds.
